A visão arquitetônica de um homem de 1920 permanece preservada.
The modern boutiques and foodie-approved restaurant scene may deceive you, but Coral Gables is one of South Florida’s oldest cities. The canopied streets, historic houses and stately gates are relics from when the city was founded in 1925 by George Merrick. What the area lacks in waterfront views (don’t worry, the Gables has a century-old, aquifer-fed pool), it makes up for in lush parks, swanky hotels and luxury shopping. By day the area plays home to a major employment center, and by nightfall the hip restaurant and bar scene attracts tourists, locals and college kids alike to some of Miami’s most popular happy hours. The neighborhood may lack a grid system, but there might not be a more beautiful place in Miami to get lost in.
